Although my work is predominantly horses, due to my long established love of them, I would rather not class myself as just an equestrian artist.  I actually enjoy creating pieces on many different subjects.

Some of my favourite pieces so far are ones I have done of my own spaniel 'Belle', there is a close up one of her on the beach and also a very simple oil sketched from behind.

I do not have a particular 'style' as I love variety and being able to experiment with different materials, mediums and subjects.  As I am still discovering all the techniques that one would perhaps learn at Art School, I am embracing the freedom I have and the excitement of being able to try something new not quite knowing where the piece is going or how it will finish...  I am sure at some point, like many other artists, that I will find something unique to me.

In between commissions, I am gradually working on other non equine works of art, such as figurative drawings/paintings and soon ceramics  I have so many ideas though that it takes me forever to decide on which one to start with - typical.  BUT watch this space and feel free to tell me what you think, I welcome your views.  Rx
